I suppose there has been nothing much going on to blog about... or has there?

Autumn came to the village, I feel old and tired today.

I don't know what's the matter with me, or maybe I do...

I'm really down 'cos I treat the love of my life worse than she deserves... She loves me, I love her... but I'm all too possessive, feeling I'm fencing her in, when what I really want is to set her free and allow her to come or go as she pleases... Hard to explain... maybe I'll do that another time... I feel like a bloomin' stalker. She says she's not feeling stalked but looked after... good. Even so I have to cut down on the looking after and let her fly freely. Won't let her go though - she won't let me and I have no whish whatsoever to be without her... rather the opposite - be even closer...

later peeps

I said: They don't make tv as they used to... or something like that... can't be arsed checking hehehe...

I've had another example of that... Been watching telly almost 3 hours now... It's incredible what a load of crap they send best hours of the evening a Saturday! Got to see (just for my trivia knowledge to be filled up...) an US "comedy" about aliens in ppls skins (no not V heheheh), a rerun of an old Heartbeat episode, 30mins of news - all about heavy drinking outside Coop and the police doing nothing, and I couldn't stand it any longer... Had to blog my angst away!

Thank God they closed down Bonanza...

Now I'm waiting for this Saturday evenings main feature... A BBC drama documentary about pirates... Good old BBC... I just wish it's better than the trailor tells...

DRENK!

Seems like you've been busy posting while I was gone... I have trouble keeping up with you AND blogging myself! Don't stop tho! It's great to read you!

It's a lovely day here - a bit chilly maybe for late July (+18) but it's sunny and a bit windy so I suppose all the rain that came down last week finally might dry up a bit. I wonder... this raining can't be good for my apples...

Free from work today, cleaning the house done yesterday... Only important stuff today is to remember to go out for eggs (wich I forgot shopping groceries yesterday...) - I'm likely to forget or postpone it until tomorrow - Lazy bones today! ZZzzz... hehe

And China... I've started digging in my files... I'm likely to find a nice pic somewhere soon

A soon as one get's home from a week long vacation trip hoping to get some calm and peace (in front of the puter ) some invitation or another drops on your head like a heap of seagull droppings and off you go again like a scalded squirrel...

So... now it's time again... going away for a week... to a place... without broadband, without computers... I am scared

Nahh.. but it *will* be just a little bit boring...

So sorry for not having posted very frequently... you must remeber tho.. I am rather a newbie here... and well... it takes time to get blogging I suppose... got lots of things to blog but the time seems to be short... especially during summer holiday... argh!

Will be back in a week... hope you'll remember me then...

A week passes so quickly. Nice to see the peeps! Mum's 64 - nice dinner party with family (I was the chef once again!) - Dad's 69. Also got to meet auntie D - grand lady indeed aged 71 - and grandma herself, just reached 90. She got sheltered living three weeks ago and she seems to like it well enough, with safety, care givers and food on the table, an a nice 1,5 room flat with a luxury sized bathroom! Her old home is sold - that's a bit sad , I was raised there while my parents were working and cared for by my grandparents after school for some 8 or 9 years. It was a lovely way to grow up! And yes... I *have* told gran so! *sniffle*

Anyway... back to my own residence tomorrow (yaya - that's not true, I came back over a week ago but bizi-bizi-bizi). It'll be just fine too (ut was sort of...) And back to my puter and my music and my... (here follows a word I can't read myself.. lol... wrote it by hand in bed... damn hehe... looks like yuris, ymus, gmis gmurr... anyone can tell me what that means in english? ... damn hehe)

Ah well... cya back there (yes and here I am again... tried to keep up with what you've been up to on other ppls puters.)

I'm born and raised by the sea, had a boat of my own before my teens, been living of the sea through serving in the Swedish Royal Navy, so very little impresses me when it comes to boat trips. This was a different thing!

http://www.vattenriket.kristianstad.se/eng/index.shtml

One of the many rivers of Sweden runs out in the Baltic Sea at Åhus, south Sweden. It's called River Helge (Helge means sacred). It runs through wetlands with loads of interesting sights, animals and plants.

A project of nature preservation created "Vattenriket" (The Realm of Water) to protect the wetlands and educate people on the flora and fauna there. If you ever visit Kristianstad or Åhus in Sweden - be sure to go for a boat ride up the river Helge. It's well worth the fiver!

Eh... Ok - simple examples to make you understand about me and the birds.

When I was 3, my grand parents had hens and a male hen (oh yes, must be careful not to offend you with four letter words ). They were White Leghorns - big massive birds to a 3 year old. When I fed them once the bid daddy-hen got p-o'd and used his spurs on my legs until blood sprung...

When I was 15 I had a scooter. Once home from school to an empty house with a pretty girl, I took off my helmet outside and within 0.4 seconds a seagull dropped something in my head, and it wasn't an egg. It slowly trickled down my forehead and effectively stopped me from loosing my virginity (that time...).

In my late teens I was attacked by a gigantic parrot that almost had my arm snipped off...

Later in life every bird I've ever had close to me has shrugged, glared violently at me and said something reminding of "kraaaaaaaaaah" as if it wanted my life to end.

These days birch thrushes wake me up with ther kekk-kekk-kekk at 2.30 every morning.

This might tell you how I feel about birds in general. Then again... I like magpies, crows and pray birds... Other birds (except wild life birds ofc (not to offend anyone: http://www.birdsofbritain.co.uk/ )) are best fried.

Bottom line: they are big, heavy and when you hit them with your car it gets expensive...

Badgers are also black, white, grey and every shade of shitty brown you can think of. Nasty filthy little buggers. Sometimes they find a nice house, your house maybe, and decide to live under it. In bad cases they breed there and if it's really bad... they may get the idea to die there as well.

A dead mouse in the wall stinks for a week. A dead badger is 10.000 times heavier than a dead mouse. Figure the rest out yourself. If you're smart you try to get the badger out of the house before it passes on... Good luck!

In the wild they are nice enough tho!

Every one was in some way related to my wife which meant I could get full for free, drunk for free and hung over for free... Yayy!

Here's the place before the party...

Had loads of G, G, G & T's - yes - triple strength G&T's, binges of red wine with smoked wild boar, deer and bbq'd pork. Theremight also have been salads and coffee, can't recall . Must have been scotch as well... Remember a long discussion about single malts and the rifle caliber .303 Enfield... Weird...

Wife led me to hostel. Didn't sleep to well. Had dreams about my magpie - worrying ones - I'll tell you another time...

Anyway... Woke up 10 times in cold sweats - dreams or booze is the question... Crawled out of bed at 9 - showered, shaved but still felt my head crowded with cave men trying to thwack a mammouth into a pulp - and missing... Breakfast was no hit...

Got home, got to sleep, got sober, got well fed - still worried. Fk distance, fk lack of communication.

Tomorrow's another day - visists and a canal boat ride - seems calm and healthy.

Anyway... got here in good spirit and in good time for supper... nice bbq.

It rained, hard, but we sat under roof, so no worries there except for the freakin big miggies-soundless, sneaky things, out to get your blood ... no... not really a phobia but... hate . Lightning bolts shining bright as day light... massive tunder... impressive!

Today there's mainly preps for the bbq this afternoon... it's still raining by the way... and hope for a new thunderstorm tonight!

I'm here waiting for tea to get ready. Things are simmering away in the kitchen and I'm starving (as a crow) and it smells.. mmmhmm. A chinese dish, very simple and very adapted to european grocery stores.

- a pound of pork - shred it - brown it in butter
- 2 green peppers - cut in small chunks - add to meat
- 5 big mushies - slice'em - add to meat
- add 5 - 6 cl of mushroom soy sauce + 10 cl of tap water +
ground pepper + 2 pinches of sugar
- let simmer 20 mins
- serve with boiled rice or noodles
- if you like cauliflower... split it up into pieces and stir fry /
fry the pieces

Mmmm... hungry....

Well... could be worse, couldn't it. First my parents, still alive and kicking (otherwise it would be problematic visiting them, duh). After that dinner with the in-laws - traditional swedish midsummer food I suppose: marinated herring, potatoes, sour cream and chives for starters then bbq and for pudding nice strawberries with double cream.

The day after a bigger midsummer party hopefully with a hell of a lot more drink - I need to get wasted...

Then laying around somewhere at some beach... there'll be accounts made ofc.. or driving around the countryside, visiting ppl we know for coffee...

I don't mind a week away from the house... But it does restrict my access to my puter and everything associated with it. *sigh*

Anyway... better get wifie a cup of coffee... and myself a second one. Cya later.

I know... It's a bit odd for a normally insane 41 year old male, wild as the wind in some aspects of life, and in others - timid as a squirrel with too much nuts on its hands. Can't help the oddity though! I am who I am.

I have too many work associates, loads of acquaintances, a few friends, two close friends - both female - and one very very special friend - that's my Magpie! So... I must be the Crow. And this is my story.

Oh yes... the sailor isn't me. I was navy once, so I suppose it's close enough for now !
